Meet Keaton Krebs

Just over a year ago, Keaton woke up with an ache in his right hip. Days passed and the ache did not subside, which led his sports trainer to send Keaton to an orthopedic. After meeting with two different orthopedics and undergoing multiple MRI’s, Keaton was immediately sent to an oncologist at USA Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Meet Devin Cherry

Devin is a soon to be 14 year old 2 time pediatric cancer survivor. He was diagnosed on Sept 30th of 2013 with Stage 3 Burkitts Lymphoma most commonly known as Non Hodgkins Lymphoma with a mass that obstructed his nasal passage and airway. He completed a 6 month treatment in 4 months. He enjoyed 2 months in remission when a routine scan revealed a large mass with fluid that filled 70% of his lungs. With a 50% chance of survival he completed two more aggressive rounds of Chemotherapy and received a Bone Marrow transplant in May of 2014. He has now enjoyed 4 years of remission.

Fort Worth MWOY Chairs

Longtime Fort Worth philanthropists Karen and Larry Anfin will serve as the Chairs for the event and will be joined by Diane and Bill Ayers as Honorary Chairs.  They are joined by a committee of more than a dozen Fort Worth leaders who are committed to helping further the LLS vision of a world without blood cancers.
