Meet Keaton Krebs

Meet Keaton Krebs

Just over a year ago, Keaton woke up with an ache in his right hip. Days passed and the ache did not subside, which led his sports trainer to send Keaton to an orthopedic. After meeting with two different orthopedics and undergoing multiple MRI’s, Keaton was immediately sent to an oncologist at USA Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

They learned that Keaton’s bone marrow was 93% cancer cells from his diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

Keaton was diagnosed on February, 17th, 2017, and just six short months later on August 4th, 2017, received a bone marrow transplant.

Keaton’s strength remains strong. He is the mascot of his high school and makes sure to stay positive while ensuring to make every day count!

He is already planning for a future as an oncology nurse.
