JoAnna Marza's Team Kickoff Fundraiser

JoAnna Marza's Belmont Community Easter Egg Hunt

Ava was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in February of 2022. Ava had been noticing breathing problems when running and even singing and started sleeping slightly elevated. One afternoon she went to the track with her mom, but Ava couldn't even run around the track once. Ava's mom knew something was wrong has Ava had qualified for the state cross country meet the previous fall.

Scout was diagnosed with HLH when she was only 1 1/2 years old.  She had a  persistent fever that lasted 3 weeks which progressively got higher with the highest being 105.4.  She also stopped eating and drinking.  Now Scout's family monitors her fevers very closely and has a protocol to know when a fever needs to be addressed in the ER.

Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt at Strohmer's Farm with Dee Cutler's fundraising team on April 12th-13th and the 19th to help LLS fight blood cancer! Tickets are $15 and are available for pre-sale, online. The event is from 11a-4p  and $5 from each ticket purchased will go to LLS.
