On October 14, 2013 our lives changed. The signs were there, I kept taking her to the Doctor’s office weekly, I was desperate trying to figure out what was wrong with her. She had fevers every day for no apparent reason, she barely ate and all she wanted to do was sleep. She was covered in bruises but I thought they were from her just being a daredevil and when she was awake she was doing arts and crafts or playing with that big bright smile. I remember like it was yesterday.
