Meet our Honored Hero - Brady!
Brady Robnett was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on Christmas Eve, 2020. Surprisingly, he didn't have any symptoms. The cancer was found as part of a routine blood draw. The medical team at Arkansas Children's Hospital had never seen a non-symptomatic patient before. A few weeks later, it was determined that Brady had a rare genetic fusion that would require a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately his siblings were not a match, but a 23 year-old male from somewhere in the US was a 10/10 match. Brady received his transplant on May 28, 2021 which was also his 17th birthday.
Brady is thankfully doing extremely well. He is a senior in high school and plays on the Conway High team. He also loves to travel, play disc golf, gaming, and hanging out with friends and family.
