Alex is a very sweet kid who loves sports.  Real Madrid is his favorite soccer team, and he loves the Kansas City Chiefs. In May of 2023, Alex was not feeling well with abdominal pain, chest pain, and extreme lower back pain that made walking difficult. When Alex was finally diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, life changed immensely for Alex and his family. A new, and not welcome, normal arrived for the family as everything changed and Alex started the treatment regimen. Alex's mom, brother, sister, and his dog have all been there to support him every step of the way.

Alex is now in the maintenance phase of treatment.  He loves chicken wings, drawing, reading, building Lego's, and math class.  Alex enjoys school and dreams of becoming an architect.
