Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) California Southland Chapter celebrated the formal kickoff of the 16th Annual Los Angeles Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY) Campaign at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, March 25. evening included an exclusive VIP tour of Dodger’s Stadium for all 20 candidates and the MWOY Leadership Committee members, an evening reception in the infamous Dodger’s Stadium Club. Family, friends and fellow team members were privy to an energetic and inspiring program where candidates were officially introduced and announced as the official running candidates for the 2018 MWOY campaign. The night featured the MWOY’s Boy and Girl of the Year – Rafael Sanchez (12) and Aliya Hall (8) who shared their testimony of survival and hopes for this year’s campaign success.
