Meet our Honored Hero - Genevieve!

Genevieve

Genevieve is 9 years old. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She loves flamingos, playing with her baby dolls, especially playing the doctor. She loves working puzzles, going shopping, and camping with her family.

She was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia December 26, 2019, at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Genevieve had been presenting with fatigue and intermittent fevers which led her parents to do some lab work, which then led them to ACH. Thankfully, she was in the lowest risk category and was able to receive all her treatments at ACH. However, it was over a 2-year long treatment protocol.  On March 2, 2022, she took her very last dose of chemo and a few weeks later was able to ring the bell signifying her end of treatment. Genevieve still has monthly labs and checkups, but she is now able to resume life free of treatment and in complete remission!
