Ella was diagnosed with ALL in December of 2019. She had been getting lots of mild illnesses, and the morning after Thanksgiving that year she woke with a 103⁰ fever. We took her to Children's Northwest ER, where she was poked and prodded. The ER doctor mentioned leukemia that day, but the diagnosis wouldn't be confirmed for almost 3 more weeks.  She began treatment on her dad's birthday at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Of course the covid pandemic hit our shores 3 months later. She has spent the entire pandemic in treatment and has done very well.
